By adding Vain Bot to your Discord server or using any of its features, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the bot.

3. License and Usage Rights

Vain Bot is provided as-is for personal and non-commercial use within Discord servers. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the bot in accordance with these terms. You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the bot's source code
  • Use the bot for commercial purposes without explicit permission
  • Remove or modify any copyright notices
  • Use the bot to spam, harass, or violate Discord's Terms of Service
  • Automate commands in ways that violate Discord's policies

4. Acceptable Use Policy

  • Illegal activities or content
  • Spreading malware or malicious content
  • Phishing or social engineering
  • Spam or unsolicited automated actions
  • Circumventing security measures or rate limits

Your use of Vain Bot is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the bot, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in that policy. We store user preferences, server data, and other information necessary to provide bot functionality.

6. Limitation of Liability

Vain Bot is provided on an "as-is" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

  • The accuracy or reliability of bot features
  • Uninterrupted service availability

  • Compatibility with all Discord features

We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or service interruptions resulting from bot usage.

7. Service Modifications and Termination

8. Rate Limiting and Resource Usage

To maintain service quality, Vain Bot implements rate limits and may restrict excessive command usage. Attempting to bypass these limits may result in suspension or permanent ban.

9. Third-Party Services

Vain Bot integrates with external APIs (CoinGecko, Last.fm, YouTube, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their services, availability, or content.

10. Intellectual Property

All Vain Bot content, features, and functionality are owned by or licensed to the bot creators. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any bot features without permission.

11. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Discord account
  • All activities performed using your account
  • Compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
  • Your use of bot features and any consequences thereof

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

VAIN BOT IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the bot creators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of Vain Bot.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes are subject to arbitration or small claims court as permitted by law.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Vain Bot after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
